Olivia Sun Art (“we,” “us,” or “our”) wants you to be delighted with your original painting. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied, please review the following refund and return terms.


1. EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you reside in the European Union, you have the right to cancel any purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the artwork—no questions asked. To exercise this right, notify us in writing (email is sufficient) before the 14-day period expires. The painting must then be returned to us within 14 days of your cancellation notice in the same condition you received it.


2. General Return & Refund Eligibility

  • Timeframe: Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery confirmation (or within 14 days of your cancellation notice under the EU cooling-off period).

  • Condition: The artwork must be in its original condition, unworn, unused, and free of any customer-inflicted damage. Include all original packaging, certificates of authenticity, and any documentation provided.

  • Non-returnable Items: Custom-commissioned pieces, limited-edition prints, and any artworks altered at the customer’s request are not eligible for standard returns (unless defective or damaged in transit).


3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Submit a Request: Email returns@oliviasunart.com with your order number, the title of the artwork, and the reason for return.

  2. Approval & Instructions: Once your request is approved, we will send you a Return Authorization (“RA”) and detailed shipping instructions, including the return address:

  3. Return Shipping: You are responsible for arranging and paying return shipping. We recommend using a trackable courier service and adequate packaging to prevent damage in transit.


4. Inspection & Refund Process

  • Inspection: Upon receipt, we will inspect the artwork to confirm it meets our return criteria.

  • Approval: If approved, we will process your refund within 10 business days, crediting the original payment method.

  • Notification: You will receive an email notification indicating approval or rejection of your return.


5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your painting arrives damaged or defective, please:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Email studio@oliviasunart.com within 48 hours of delivery with “Damaged Item” in the subject line.

  2. Provide Evidence: Include clear photographs of the artwork, all packaging materials (inner and outer), and the shipping label.

  3. Resolution: We will, at our discretion, offer a replacement, repair, or full refund. Shipping costs for replacement or repair of defective items will be covered by us.


6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To obtain a different artwork, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order for the desired piece.


7. Exceptions & Special Cases

  • Force Majeure: If returns are delayed due to unforeseeable circumstances (e.g., customs holds, natural disasters), we will work with you to find an agreeable solution.

  • Partial Refunds: In cases where artworks are returned in a condition that does not meet our standards (e.g., minor damage), we may offer a partial refund after deducting reasonable restoration or restocking fees.
